Dynamic, “broken” form of the building refers to the turbulent post-war history of Szczecin and its inhabitants. Building Centre for Dialogue, “Breakthroughs” is designed as an object with one floor above ground and underground parts. The block in the aboveground part is divided into two parts, separated by a sequence of foot-designed building combines the Philharmonic and the Castle of Pomeranian Dukes. Distribution function corresponds to the breakdown of form. In the eastern part of the ground floor and basement of the building houses support functions and ancillary to the primary-function exhibition hall located on the west.
