The scope of remodeling includes reconstruction works with some modification of the buildings and construction of new buildings. They are to be adapted to servicing a fleet of modern trams. Buildings covered by the Conservation Officer’s protection shall be restored according to guidelines. A new stopover hall (about 68.5 x 133.5 m, for 18 tracks) will be built, as well as an electric rectifiers’ station, a silo for sand and equipment, and the security building. The existing service-and-repair building will be enlarged by two tracks. The plot will accommodate 94 parking spots for cars and 2 places for the technical service trucks. Additionally, a track surrounding the whole depot will be built; it will possible to use it for testing brakes. The developed depot will be connected to the existing city track and traction networks.
